LED Channel Letters

LED vs. Neon: Pro's

1. LED letters will save you money on your electric bills.  That's right GO GREEN!!!
2. LED letters do not require as much maintenance and far are less fragile.
3. LED letters will last longer than neon.
4. LED letters are simiply the future for channel letters.

LED vs. Neon:  Con's

1. LED letters exposed are not as bright as neon.  However, the letters are not exposed & additional rows can produce even more brightness than neon.  Neon is limited in space for the amount of rows.
2. LED has fewer color options compared to neon.
3. LED letters cost more for the initial order than neon.  However, over the years the price is actually lower.

Open Face Channel Letters

This type of sign is great for Nightclubs, Restaurants & other night time locations.  This type of Channel Letter will save you money on the initial order.  They do not require faces and use Neon for the lighting effects.

Reverse Channel Letters

This is the best possible way to use a channel letter for your store front signs for night time viewing.  This type of letter is also known as a "Halo" Channel Letter.  The image that it displays is one of the highest standards and often used by first class establishments. 

The

letters are mounted away from the wall so a halo glowing light is dispalyed behind the letters. They are also protected from birds and other animals by a clear polycarbonate backing. 

Neon illumination is the best way to display your Reverse Channel Letters, however LED lit options are available as well.  The cost for LED will be slightly higher, but still save you money over Neon in the end.
