Traditional Lighted Signs
The faces are inserted using retainers to mount the faces to the lighted sign cabinet. The faces can be flat, pan, or pan with embossed letters and logos. Back sprayed faces will last the longest. Translucent vinyl graphics are a good solution when back sprayed faces are not possible due to logo color restrictions with fades. The cabinet can be single or double sided. They can be mounted to poles, walls, ceilings, and other type of foundation based structures.
Modern & Popular Styles
The faces are typically metal and routed based on the design of the sign. Acrylic letters are routed and push-thru the face from the back of the metal face. The routed letters would light at night and vinyl graphics can be applied to provide great contrast in the day and change to colors that are better suited for night time viewing using perforated vinyl graphics. Acrylic can also be displayed behind the routed face and not push-thru the face. This type of routed lighted sign is only intended for long term branding as the faces and cabinet are custom built & routed for the artwork at that time.
Existing Cabinet Conversions
It’s time to switch to LED technology and save money in future years from lowering your lighting cost within your signage. Most cabinets can be converted to LED lighting with a little bit of work and that means you do not have to purchase a new cabinet & faces. Although some older faces use acrylic that will not be enhanced from the LED lighting. All of our new faces are done using LED rated acrylic to ensure the best lighting effects for your signage. Let’s connect and schedule an inspection of your signage and see if we can help you make the switch.
